Statement

My intention is to place figures among ordinary things and surroundings so as to hint at an underlying psychological insight contained in the work. This leaves the viewer the task of deciphering the narrative and to speculate about the seriousness and reverence with which the figures inhabit their world; to meditate on the nature of people and things and to record the idea that larger meanings are entailed by events that first meets the eye.
