Statement
Irish artist Lisa Kavanagh graduated from the Limerick School of Art and Design with a B.A. (Hons) degree in Fine Art in 1997. She now lives just south of the Curragh Plains in Co. Kildare and is inspired by the rolling farmland, flora and fauna which surrounds her home. Working primarily in gouache, Liza produces detailed pieces in a contemporary style. Of her work she says “colour and form play an important role within my work and there is always a strong emphasis on the flow of line within the composition.”
