Statement
Born: Oxford, England. Living and working in County Kildare.
‘In my work I explore colour harmonies, shapes and patterns. Inspiration comes from everyday familiar objects and images. I try to achieve a sense of poetry in each piece, often working in alla prima. Influences are the works of Cezanne, Bonnard, Van Gough and the female pioneers of Impressionists Mary Cassat and Berthe Morrisot.’
