Moate Exhibition November 09

At this stage we need to know if you are interested in participating by the 7th October please.
A handling fee of €20 (Cheque made out to AKA) should be sent to Treasurer, Eileen Keane, Roseberry, Newbridge, Co Kildare by the 16th October This will cover invites, publicity, opening night expenses etc.
At this stage 2 pieces will be accommodated, up to a maximum size of 3 x3 ft. Other work may be included at a later date depending on space.
3D work must be secured or insured by the artist. If a plinth is required the artist is to arrange that him/herself.
It is proposed that the show will run for 10 days. Opening evening date has to be finalised. It will probably be the 20th or 21st Nov.
It was decided that in the interest of fairness, everybody participating in the exhibition will help in some way.

Participating members should send invite list to Bríd óg Norrby, Downings, Prosperous, Co Kildare.

There will be a follow-up meeting in Fletchers Pub, Naas next Thursday at 8pm so it is essential that you let me know by the 8th October if you intend to participate.

KA Exhibition at Mullingar Art’s Centre.

Latest.

 Hi everyone it’s full steam ahead for our show opening Tues. Feb. 3^rd. It looks like 13 of us will be exhibiting.

 Zita and I are going to view the space on Tuesday morning and pick up the invitations.

 Naas Library have kindly agreed to let us use them as a ‘ pick up’ point for collection of the invitations, so please try to get there on Tues any time after 1pm and before 8pm when they close to pick up yours. Needless to say, with such little time it’s really important that everyone gets their invitations out in the post or by hand to their people as soon as possible.

Kildare Artists @ The Market House Gallery Mullingar

The Market House Gallery in Mullingar have invited the Kildare Artists to exhibit at their new gallery space.

Mullingar Arts Centre has an exquisite Art Gallery situated at the Market House, Market Square, Mullingar. The first exhibition to be held in the new gallery space was the RDS National Craft Fair Touring Exhibition which was held in November of 2008.

Professional artists exhibit their works on a regular basis and also local artists in the area contribute to the variety of exhibitions which have been held there to date. The Sculpture Society of Ireland and the Watercolour Society of Ireland have availed of the gallery to hold their annual exhibitions.

• All of the Kildare Artists.org are invited to submit 4 works (perhaps more if space allows)
• There will be a handling fee of €10 per artist for expenses
• Images for the invitation was to be emailed to Zita before 5pm today Wed as they went to print Thursday ( the Market House will decide which goes forward)
• Immediate cooperation is required by all interested artists, therefore we ask that you confirm your particapation by this Friday 23rd Jan (All other details can be sorted at a later date)
