James H. Flack

Statement

James H. Flack has been painting since his early childhood in County Armagh. Flack initially trained for a career in the Presbyterian ministry, though his love of paintings never diminished.

He now devotes himself full-time to painting and teaching art in Athy, County Kildare where he lives with his wife and son. His heavy teaching schedule includes watercolour instruction at summer schools, and to art groups and individual students throughout Ireland and Wales.

Flack exhibits regularly at galleries and in one-man shows in Ireland, Britain, Canada and the United States.
